Improving Technological Infrastructure of Distance Education through Trustworthy Platform-Independent Virtual Software Application Pools

Distance education (DE), which has evolved under the wings of information technologies in last decade, become a fundamental part our modern system. DE not only replaced traditional method as social sciences and lifelong learning opportunities but also significantly strengthened mathematics, science, engineering fields that require practical intensive study. However, it is deprived supporting some key elements found educational approaches such (i) computer laboratories with installed special software suitable for student’s field interest; (ii) adequate staff maintenance proper functioning laboratories; (iii) face-to-face technical support; (iv) license fees. For students to overcome these shortcomings, virtual application pool needed where they can easily access all necessary applications via remote access. This research aims develop platform-independent laboratory environment students. article been developed specifically guide institutions make positive contribution literature. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) used explain student behaviors. It was concluded using platform performed more successful grades (12.89%) on assessments were be satisfied process.
